Family Tale: According to my aunt Mary
Jane Kelly used to find work by parading in the market square chewing a piece
of straw. She apparently possessed only one pair of knickers and having one
day washed them and hung them on a bush to dry, they were eaten by a cow. Good job the women wore long skirts in
those days! |
